Housed In A Former Cotton Warehouse, You Can Order Iconic Foods From The Southern Delta At Cotton In Louisiana

Restaurant Cotton in Monroe, Louisiana, offers a unique dining experience with its historic setting and modern Southern Delta cuisine.

We love restaurants that have both a fascinating history and delicious food, and this place certainly covers both. Housed in a former cotton warehouse, Restaurant Cotton has been delighting locals in the Greater Monroe area since it opened in 2008. There’s a lot of history behind these walls, and you’ll feel it from the moment you step inside.

Welcome to Restaurant Cotton, a waterfront restaurant nestled within historic downtown Monroe, Louisiana.

You'll notice a rustic-industrial as soon as you walk in. Even though the restaurant has only been open since 2008, the building is much older.

Built in 1893, the building has seen many businesses over the years, ranging from a mail-order liquor dealership to a cotton exchange.

Overlooking the scenic Ouachita River, the views are simply delightful. If you have the opportunity to sit outside, do it!

When it comes to modern comfort food, Restaurant Cotton knows best.

The folks here have carefully crafted a menu that blends Southern Delta cuisine with a modern, unique spin.

You’ll find everything from pimento cheese beignets to yummy pulled pork sandwiches.

The burgers are drool-worthy, too.

Just be sure to save room for dessert! You never know what sweet specialty creations they’ll have, but you’ll want to try them.
