Brunch is the perfect way to start out your Saturday or Sunday. Getting together with family and friends and friends and sharing a delicious meal (and maybe a mimosa or two) is a wonderful treat. While there are tons of places that offer traditional breakfast and brunch menu items, we’ve found a few that are putting their own unique twist on the traditional brunch menu. In no particular order, here are some of our favorites.
This place puts their own spin on the classic eggs Benedict: pulled pork, poached eggs, hollandaise on top of jalapeno corn cakes. Located at 949 Ryan Street, Lake Charles, LA 70601.

Try their Eggs Atchafalaya: poached eggs, fried green tomatoes topped with jumbo lump crab meat and Hollandaise sauce. Located at 901 Louisiana Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70115.

Oyster lovers, this ones for you. Their eggs Louis Benedict has poached eggs, baby spinach topped with hollandaise sauce all stacked on fresh french bread and surrounded with cornmeal-crusted fried oysters. Located at 5251 Nicholson Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70820.
You've heard of chicken and waffles, sure... But what about quail and waffles? Cotton's is certainly putting their own spin on the popular southern classic. Located at 101 N. Grand Street, Monroe, LA 71201.
Cristiano's serves a very unique brunch menu, each item better than the next. You can't go wrong with their shrimp and polenta! Located at 724 High Street, Houma, LA 70360.

They have a lot of signature breakfast and brunch items, and a few with a twist. Try their Cajun Benedict with homemade crawfish sausage, tomatoes, poached eggs all on an English muffin and topped with Hollandaise. Located at 340 N. Causeway Approach, Mandeville, LA 70448.
Their spin on chicken and biscuits keeps customers coming back for more. Delicious boudin served with freshly bakes biscuits. Boudin and biscuits! A wonderful Cajun spin on a southern classic. Located at 4041 Fern Ave, Shreveport, LA 71105.
