Every year, this historic little village transforms into a winter wonderland for the month of December, and you’re not going to want to miss it. Tucked away in the heart of Cajun Country, LARC’s Acadian Village is a fun adventure year-round for families with kids of all ages.
The village is like taking a step back in time. You’ll stroll through 32 acres of a beautiful 19th century staged Acadian village and learn about the day-to-day lives of early Acadians.
During the month of December, the Acadian Village Transforms into a winter wonderland that would put anyone into the Christmas spirit.
Claude’s Fairy-Tale Christmas opens on Saturday, November 30th, 2019 and runs until Monday, December 23rd, 2019, so you have plenty of time to see it.
Half a million lights illuminate this historic village in a spectacular holiday display that must be seen to be believed.
Kids and adults of all ages will have a blast wandering through the village and seeing all the mesmerizing lights and animated displays.
Every year gets bigger and better, and this year promises to be the best one yet.
New animated displays, live nightly entertainment, more all make for the perfect holiday adventure where you can make memories to last a lifetime.
There will be holiday shopping opportunities, local cuisine, and a special appearance by Santa himself.
You can get your photo taken with Santa and give him your wishlist every evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
In between Santa selfies and checking out the lights, be sure to pop on over to ride some carnival rides.
Thrill-seekers and adventure lovers will have a blast riding all the carnival rides.
Ticket sales start at $10 per person and the village is open every evening from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Advanced ticket sales are discounted to $8 per person, so be sure to visit the village's website to purchase your tickets ahead of time.
