There are a handful of field trips that stand out when you think back on your days in elementary school, and in my case, the Kentucky Wool Festival was the absolute best. Getting to witness all of the classic Kentucky traditional activities such as wood carving and Bluegrass Music as well as getting to enjoy an incredible turkey leg and freshly popped kettle corn made the festival one for the books. Mark your calendars: the 2023 Kentucky Wool Festival is scheduled for October 6-8 and it’s a fall tradition you’ll want to experience.
