Did you know that the Bluegrass State has birthed some of the most legendary icons in the music industry?
The museum contains memorabilia, artifacts, and exhibits that shine a spotlight on the numerous bands, singers, and music birthed in the Bluegrass State.
In addition to the more traditional museum displays and exhibits, you'll find some unique and quirky little showpieces, like this one: The Moron Brothers Bluegrass tour bus! This iconic bug has been featured in many videos, album covers, and Facebook posts... and it's kind of a big deal!
Even the building that houses the museum is historic -- and related to Horse Country! The front section of the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame and Museum used to be John Lair's horse stables. Lair, who founded Renfro Valley Entertainment Center in 1939, had his home and stables built here in 1944; today, these winsome structures provide the perfect setting for a Bluegrass music museum.
