This waterfall trail in Kentucky can be found south of Louisville near Fort Knox. It’s a popular hike for its scenery and waterfall, but it also has a few surprising features that make it worth trying. The Tioga Falls Trail is a 2-mile, out and back hike that's located near West Point, Kentucky.
Much of the trail is through the woods and shaded, but it is rated moderate. Expect some rocky terrain and steep climbs. Right now, there is also a detour at the beginning of the trail, so be sure to follow the signs.

The trail has a little bit of everything and kids will love the bridges and creek views.
You'll reach a point where an active railroad crosses the trail, so be cautious, but definitely enjoy these views. Imagine the gorgeous color in the fall!
This is a popular spot for photos, but you'll want to stay off the train tracks as much as possible.
This waterfall can be underwhelming in dry conditions, so keep that in mind. Also, as with every trail in Kentucky, leave no trace of your visit. In fact, you may choose to bring along a trash bag and some gloves to help out and clean up after some not-so-tidy visitors.
