The Moment Secretariat Wins The 1973 Kentucky Derby Will Give You Goosebumps

The Kentucky Derby is a horse race held annually in Louisville, Kentucky on the first Saturday in May, capping the two-week-long Kentucky Derby Festival. The race is a Grade I stakes race for three-year-old Thoroughbreds with a length of one and a quarter miles (2 km) at Churchill Downs. Just about everyone in the country knows perhaps the most impressive horse that ever lived – Secretariat. Today, we want to share the moment he won the Kentucky Derby in 1973 before going on to complete the Triple Crown.
