Narrowing this list down to a reasonable number was the hardest thing ever. Seriously, it could feature 100 restaurants and that still probably wouldn’t cover it. However, these 15 restaurants in Kentucky serve some pretty amazing pizza, and you should add them to your pizza places in Kentucky bucket list immediately.

1. Miguel's, Slade
Miguel's Pizza just might be the most famous pizza joint in Kentucky. It's located right near Natural Bridge State Resort Park and the Red River Gorge, and people come from all over the country to build their own pizza at Miguel's before or after a hike. Miguel's is located at 1890 Natural Bridge Road, Slade, KY 40376.
2. Goodfellas Pizzeria, Lexington and Covington
For a slice of classic New York-style pizza, head to one of Goodfellas' three Kentucky locations. Craft your own pizza or get one of their specialty pies. The Covington location is located at 603 Main Street, and the two Lexington locations are at 110 Mill Street in downtown, and 333 S. Limestone on the University of Kentucky campus.
3. The Post, Louisville
The Post is a fairly new pizza place in Louisville's Germantown neighborhood. They have HUGE and unique slices, including a special Slice of the Day. The Post is located at 1045 Goss Avenue, Louisville, KY 40217.
4. Jailhouse Pizza, Brandenburg
You're in for a truly unique dining experience here! As its name might suggest, this restaurant is located in a former jail and is said to be haunted. People travel here for both the pizza and the experience. Jailhouse Pizza is located at 125 Main Street, Brandenburg, KY 40108.
5. Crust, Lexington
Crust handcrafts their pizzas with care and responsibility. These wood-fired pizzas are baked with bread that is made fresh daily. They even dry their own oregano. Crust is located at 2573 Richmond Road #170, Lexington, KY 40509.
6. FatKats, Georgetown
Not only can you get a great pizza pie here, but you can switch it up a bit and get wings or burgers. Sit on their fun patio and order a bucket of beer to go with your pizza. FatKats is located at 3073 Paris Pike, Georgetown, KY 40324.
7. Dock's Pizza, Louisa
This place is truly a hidden gem. It may have an unassuming exterior, but you will be blown away by the pizza here. A slice from Dock's is worth driving all the way to far eastern Kentucky. Dock's is located at 8404 US-23, Louisa, KY 41230.
8. Clifton's Pizza Co., Louisville
Clifton's has been a Louisville favorite for more than 25 years. Located on Frankfort Avenue, this restaurant is in a great location full of things to do. They frequently have live music and have a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Clifton's is located at 2230 Frankfort Avenue, Louisville, KY 40206.
9. Buddy's Pizza, Frankfort
Buddy's is named after a dog, and there are pictures of customers' dogs hanging all over the walls. In fact, bring a picture of your own dog when you stop in at Buddy's, and they'll hang it on the wall. Buddy's is located at 212 W. Broadway, Frankfort, KY 40601.
10. Matt B's Main St. Pizza, Murray
If you're looking for a laid back, relaxed, and cozy neighborhood place for a slice of pizza and some breadsticks, then Matt B's is the place for you. They have a variety of different pizzas, so matter what you like, you'll find a favorite here. Matt B's is located at 1411 Main Street, Murray, KY 42071.
11. Lost River Pizza Co., Bowling Green
Part of the appeal of Lost River Pizza Company is the wide selection of craft beers. If you're looking for a place to watch a sporting event on TV while eating deep dish pizza and drinking beer, this place is for you. 12. Papaleno's, Berea
Papaleno's is a delicious Italian restaurant in Berea that not only has great pizzas, but also options for subs, pastas, and even chili. Papaleno's is located at 108 Center Street, Berea, KY 40403.
13. Bonnie and Clyde's, Louisville
Bonnie and Clyde's is a cash-only, no frills pizza place in southern Louisville. However, it has very tasty thin-crust pizzas with classic toppings. You really can't go wrong here. Bonny and Clyde's is located at 7611 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40258.
14. Newport Pizza Co., Newport
This is another good ole neighborhood place. Just show up as your are for craft beer and New York style pizzas in a casual atmosphere. Newport Pizza Company is located at 601 Monmouth Street, Newport, KY 41071.
15. Pizza Stop, Inez
The Pizza Stop is another hidden gem of eastern Kentucky. The pizza you'll get at this small, local place will rival most pizza restaurants you've ever been to. Pizza Stop is located at 1488 Blacklog Road, Inez, KY 41224.
