Hurricane Bay is a part of Kentucky Kingdom, an amusement park that dates back to the 1980s.

After a temporary closure a decade ago (due to Six Flags' bankruptcy), the park re-opened in 2014, and it becomes more popular with each passing year.
The water park is open from May through September, and it offers a wide variety of fun for all ages.

Smaller children enjoy Buccaneer Beach and the Splash Zone, while older guests enjoy head for the exhilarating slides.
The Deep Water Dive is one of the world's tallest body slides, dropping you 12 stories in only a few seconds.

Deep Water Dive runs 377 feet long with a drop of 121 feet at a 70-degree angle.
Most of the other attractions are a bit more tame, although they're still meant for the adventurous.
