For starters, this little town of less than 400 residents is bordered by Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley, which both provide glorious opportunities for fishing, boating and relaxing. On top of that, Grand Rivers has acres of Mother Nature’s magic, and some fantastic places to stop in for a meal, if you are not catching your own. You can even spend a weekend at one of the local marinas if you have the time.

This town offers visitors a trip back in time to a place where you still know your neighbor’s name… and the people come together in emergencies. There are gathering spots where you can hear live music and there is often a local celebration for something, especially nice weather.
