Hello, hungry Kansans! Today, there's a great excuse to plan a trip to (or through) Salina, Kansas. Grab your Kansas dinnerplate list and make sure to add this spot to your future travels, because these fancy flavors should be sampled. Salina, here we come!

Welcome to a new restaurant in Salina named Barolo Grille. Here, the food is a little fancier than your average cafe, but the flavors never waver.

Inside, you'll find that beauty is part of your experience. It's nothing too fancy, but it's amazing what a mural and decorative plating can do for your experience.

The specials change every month or so, often themed after major holidays and events. Specials that last over the weekend are often just as nice as the monthly ones, even if they don't last as long on the menu.

Their menu comes with full-sized portions or a "small plates" option where you can sample multiple smaller versions of larger meals. It's a great way to find your new favorite!

Honestly, it would be tough to ever turn down fried green tomatoes. Can you believe how tasty everything looks?

Pair your meal with a nice mixed drink from the bar, and finish off your night with a delicious pairing that leaves you full and happy.

Barolo Grille is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
