Everyone In Kansas Needs To Experience This Incredibly Unique Attraction At Least Once
Today we’re going to a small town that you’ll remember from back in 2007. In a town seemingly all by itself, there sits an incredibly unique attraction that is, well, a hole in the ground. Do you know where we’re going? Greensburg!
Build in 1887, this giant hand-dug well is the world's largest hand-dug well. It originally provided water to local railroads and was a municipal water source until 1932.
It's now bright and well-lit inside, and features plenty of information on its creation as well as Greensburg's history and future as a sustainable community.
