Defiance is a brewery in Hays with Kansas as its main priority. Ales, stouts, and more are poured here, so pick out a few new brews and some to take home for later.
Tallgrass Tap House in Manhattan is a great spot to grab some grub as well as a few new brews, especially since they've won awards for Best Beer Bar in Kansas in past years. They carry both their own brews as well as guest brews, so choose whatever looks great!
Just like the basset, we're happy to visit this Topeka brewery for every color of the brew rainbow. Taste their most popular choices or all of them, and you'll be well on your way to finding a new favorite or three.
Free State Brewing Company has beer served all across Kansas, but visiting the brewery itself is another experience entirely. They're somehow so much better from the source!
At 23rd Street Brewery, you'll find a small selection of personal brews as well as fresh (and tasty) food that pairs perfectly with a cold one. Their Lawrence location makes sure they always have business, so let's hope they stick around for a good while.
Radius is hiding out in Emporia, and their shop here serves lunch, dinner, and brews on tap. This microbrewery might be small, but their flavors sure pack a punch.
Hopping Gnome might sound a bit silly, but this spot in Wichita is nothing like that. They have serious flavors happening in every beer they serve, and serious love for small businesses.
Central Standard is also hiding out in Wichita, which makes it easy to stop by after you visit Hopping Gnome. They've got a short list of all of their local brews currently on tap, but I'm sure they'd love to chat about what they're making in the future.
Hank is Wiser might be an odd name for a brewery, but after seeing their extensive list of what they've got in store and what they've brewed themselves, you'll forget all about that. If you can imagine a flavor or style, they've probably got it hiding out somewhere. The only problem is when you have to choose! Maybe you should just take home a few for now.
