Not only do Kansans love to eat a varied diet, but Kansans also enjoy having a little bit of everything in one sitting. We love our buffets because they're just like potlucks, and this one out in Mankato, Kansas is a real treat. From fried chicken to barbecue and from meat to potatoes, every dish at this tasty Kansas buffet is homemade, fresh, and filling. Is that the smell of a road trip in the air?
Welcome to Buffalo Roam Steakhouse, a restaurant in a small town that's lovingly named after a line in the song Home On The Range.
Even though Kansas has bison and not buffalo, this restaurant has plenty of something else that starts with 'B'—buffet options!
On the buffet menu are things like fried chicken, barbecue in many forms, smoked meats, fish, and even prime rib.
To go with your meats, there are plenty of side options, from potatoes to pasta and everything in between. Does this buffet have everything?
Separately from the buffet, there's also cinnamon rolls, specials you can order off the regular menu, and plenty of other eats. Just look at these amazing cinnamon rolls!
Enjoy dessert after filling yourself to the brim with everything you love before heading home or off to your next adventure. Might as well make it a road trip, right?
Buffalo Roam is open from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and only from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturdays.
To keep an eye on what they're serving up and any sudden closings or buffet changes, check out the Buffalo Roam Steakhouse Facebook page before you head out.
