The Beloved Fried Chicken At Barto’s Idle Hour In Kansas Is A Classic To Try Anytime
Fried chicken can be made by anyone, but there are a few places in Kansas that seem to make it so good they get customers for decades who eat their chicken every visit. One of the best fried chicken restaurants in Kansas has been around for decades, and we hope you’ll love it as much as we do.
Welcome to the long standing Barto's Idle Hour, a steak house and gathering place for many over the years.
Not only do they serve amazing fried chicken we've loved for years, but they also have live music, space for large groups, and that comfy Kansas service you know and love.
Barto's Idle Hour is open from 4 to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and 4 to 11:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. However, expect the kitchen to close at 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and at 9:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
