Welcome to the historic Midland Railroad Hotel, a local haunt in Wilson, Kansas that also happens to be a little bit... haunted.

As a popular train stop in the early 1900s, this old hotel has its share of stories. Some say the 3rd floor is haunted by an orphan girl who jumps on beds leaving footprints or knocks on the doors.

Others who have worked here in the past have described objects turning on and off at will, doors slamming that were already shut, and a room where Sheriff Bart was allegedly lynched that doesn't always open, even with the master key.

Since it was built in 1899, this historic building is full of antiques, great restoration, and plenty of history in every room. It's comfortable to sleep, and even better to wake up in.

Plus, dining on fresh homemade eats like this chicken fried steak isn't anything to shake a fork at. These hearty meals make you feel more at home and relaxed with every bite you take.

While you're here, might as well explore Wilson, a town full of hand-painted eggs and one World's Largest Hand Painted egg. It's an amazing town full of Czech history, too!
