Reiman Gardens is one of Iowa State's best spots. This 17-acre public garden bursts with color throughout fall, and soon it will host one of the best Halloween events in Iowa.

For the past four years, Reiman Gardens has hosted a unique Halloween event, Spirits in the Gardens, featuring trick or treating and costumed fun.

Though the fall festivities are fun, the highlight of the weekend is the glowing pumpkin trail. It's the best pumpkin glow in Iowa.

This year, there are going to be over 1,000 carved pumpkins with such intricate detail that everyone will be amazed!

That's no small feat. Every pumpkin is hand stenciled and carved by hundreds of volunteers over the course of the month.

The result is truly a sight to see! This magical jack-o-lantern glow is sure to take your breath away. It's truly one of the most spectacular Halloween events in Iowa.

The entirety of the large garden is taken over by these glowing gems! You'll find pumpkins carved like cartoon characters, superheroes, ghosts, ghouls, goblins, and more.
