Campground Trick-Or-Treats In Iowa Are A Classic Fall Tradition

Looking for a fun way to get outside this fall while satisfying a sweet tooth or two? Central Iowa has several fun campground trick-or-treat options. One is held at Ledges State Park just south of Boone, Iowa; another is held at Little Wall Lake Park Campground just south of Jewell, Iowa. The Ledges trick-or-treat is a bit more casual while the goings on at Little Wall Lake take shape as something of a fall festival.

During these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list to visit at a later date.

Make it a family tradition and bring your best costumes for a family-friendly fall event at one of Iowa’s well-loved county parks. You can get more info about Little Wall Lake’s event here and more info about Ledges State Park’s event here. What other Iowa campgrounds offer trick or treating each fall? For another fun fall tradition, try a cider slushie!
