The dish that Tursi's is most known for, though, is their amazing and mouthwatering steak de burgo. Bobby Tursi set out to create the best steak de burgo in Iowa, and many will agree that he has succeeded.
The Tursi steak de burgo starts with a 9 oz charbroiled tenderloin sprinkled with Lawrey's Seasoned Salt. While many restaurants fry theirs in olive oil, the charbroil adds a certain amount of flavor that can't be beat.
There are tons of restaurants in the Des Moines area that make their own version of this classic meal, but one bite of Tursi's and you'll be telling everyone you've found the best steak de burgo in Iowa.
