Iowans know their beef, and Prime Rib is one of our state’s signature dishes. The best prime rib near Iowa City can be found tucked away in a hole-in-the-wall off of I-80 in the tiny town of Williamsburg, and it’s worth the drive.
The aptly-named Landmark Restaurant is a road-trip worthy spot that's located right off of I-80, not far from Iowa City.
It's made fresh on Fridays and Saturdays, and occasionally offered on weeknights, too. This slow roasted cut is one of the most tender you'll ever have.
Even if you aren't trying to track down the best prime rib near Iowa City, Landmark is worth a trip. Their menu features tasty comfort food that's sure to make you smile.
Check out the full menu on the Landmark website, here, and be sure to verify that they’re running their prime rib special before you make the trek. Even if they aren’t, though, this is absolutely a road-trip worthy restaurant, and its location could not be more convenient.
