10 Totally True Stereotypes Hoosiers Should Just Accept As Fact
There are lots of stereotypes out there about Hoosiers, but let’s face it, some of them are pretty close to true. Even if you don’t fall into all categories, chances are you know someone who does. Here are 10 totally true stereotypes about Hoosiers that we should probably just accept as fact.
Even if you aren't a diehard Colts fan (and you probably are), we know you at least have a soft spot for Indiana's football team.
Or 'coke', depending on where in Indiana you're from.
Admit it - Hoosier hospitality is a very real thing and you're guilty of it!
We're proud of our state food (plus it's pretty darn delicious).
No we don't all live on farms (though we likely have a friend who does), but we are really proud to grow such amazing crops here in our home state.
...only occasionally if it's snowing.
Or our parents do...or our friends. Cornfields really are plentiful in Indiana.
For most of us this is very, very true. If we don't play, we watch, and we definitely know someone who plays.
I mean, we all own cars, but yeah, most Hoosiers have been on a tractor or ride one regularly. Most Hoosiers have also gotten stuck in traffic behind one.
We're proud of our Indiana heritage and think this state is an incredible place to call home.
