Experience Industry Turned Luxury At One Of Indiana’s Oldest Hotels

Hidden in plain sight in Indianapolis, Indiana is an amazing hotel with an oddly intriguing history. It's not every day you find an old, vintage bottling plant that's been transformed into a breathtakingly elegant and totally gorgeous hotel, but you sure can if you ever find yourself in Indianapolis. This historic hotel in Indiana is a place where old-school industry and modern-day luxury collide in perfect harmony, and it makes for an absolutely incredible escape from real life for a little while.

This old factory building on Mass Ave was commissioned and opened in the 1930s as - get this - a Coca-Cola bottling facility.

At its peak, it was producing an impressive two million bottles of the fizzy drink per week, making it one of the largest plants of its kind in the nation.

Walking in now, though, you'd never guess that it was ever a factory at all.

In 1964, the plant closed down and the building was eventually purchased for use by Indianapolis Public Schools.

In 2016, however, the plant and its newest owners had new ideas on the horizon: what about an awesome multi-faceted entertainment hub surrounding an elegant boutique hotel for folks to stay and play in Indy?

...and so, Bottleworks Hotel was born.

Interestingly, the hotel contains much of the original factory's art deco look and feel; some rooms and decor are vintage and come from its days as a bottling plant, making for an interesting fusion of modern and old-school aesthetic.

It's one of a kind, for sure, and the best part (at least I think) is the fact that it's uniquely ours - you'll never find this specific, artsy little boutique hotel within a historic old plant built in the 1930s anywhere else!

The guest rooms are beautiful and comfortable, many of which have excellent views of the city.

There's an on-site spa for the ultimate relaxation experience, too, and the hotel is pet friendly. It's in a prime location, so if you feel the need to wander a little, you'll find yourself surrounded by the best shops and eateries in Indianapolis thanks to its perfect placement on Massachusetts Avenue.

Everywhere you look, you'll be greeted with modern elegance and breathtaking wonder, be it inside or outside the hotel.
