You can certainly go to any ol’ bar to sip on drinks, but what if we told you there’s a large rooftop bar — in fact, the largest rooftop bar in Illinois — that’s worth checking out? If you would rather imbibe at a more upscale, trendy place located on a rooftop with epic views, then Offshore Chicago is where you need to go.
Did you know that the largest rooftop bar in the country and, in fact, the world, is right here in Chicago? It's true! It's even listed as "The World's Largest Rooftop Bar" in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Offshore is located on the third floor of Festival Hall right on Navy Pier. Offering sweeping views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago City skyline, there's really no better place to imbibe.
Offshore's indoor space is an immense 36,000 square feet with a full-service bar and a kitchen serving up delectable cuisine. There's also a 20,000-square-foot terrace.
On top of those awesome attributes, there are no less than seven fire pits, numerous special events sections, and an entertainment and gaming area. Sounds pretty awesome here at Offshore, doesn't it?
If you choose to imbibe, there are plenty of artisinal cocktails, wine, beer, and hard seltzers to choose from. And what's better than sipping on a cocktail with views you can only experience at this rooftop bar?
The dinner menu features selections from the raw bar, pizzas, shareable plates, and entrees. There's even a kids' menu if you decide to bring the littles.
On Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., brunch is served! Enjoy an egg dish or avocado toast and pair with the bottomless mimosas for an awesome weekend adventure.
