I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and I love photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world! Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream.
‘Tis the season for some festive fun with a trip to the North Pole, or at least to a place that will make you feel like you’re there! Holiday Magic at Brookfield Zoo will transport you to an enchanting land filled with twinkling lights, larger-than-life sculptures, trees all decked out with holiday cheer, and much, much more.
This is the 39th year for Brookfield Zoo's Holiday Magic. It is the largest and longest-running event of its kind in the area.
Santa Claus has been unusually busy and we won't be able to see him at Brookfield Zoo this year. Instead, there is a life-sized cutout of the jolly old elf to take photos next to.
While Santa's elves are busy building toys, gnomes are attending the Holiday Magic event instead. Join in on the Game of Gnomes scavenger hunt and search for the 24 mischievous gnomes hidden throughout the zoo.
Feel the joy of the holiday season and sing or dance along to the lights and music through this tunnel!
Bring the family and experience Holiday Magic at the Brookfield Zoo this season! In addition to the enchanting holiday lights and displays, there are seasonal food and drink items for sale.
The event goes through December 31 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. on select dates. To reserve your advanced ticket and time slot, visit the Zoo’s website.
