The Idaho Botanical Garden is a beautiful place to visit with more than 15-acres of plants and flowers to enjoy. However, in the spring, not only do flowers begin to bloom, but you may also spot a fairy or two. From the end of April to the middle of June, this botanical garden transforms into a magical world filled with fairies, elves, and gnomes. The Fairy House Exhibit at Idaho Botanical Garden is one annual event that will certainly leave you enchanted.
The Idaho Botanical Garden is located in the Boise foothills and is one of the oldest botanical gardens in the state. It is home to a garden filled with both native and domestic plants of all shapes and sizes.
During this annual springtime exhibit, you will find all types of fairy, gnome, and elvish houses throughout the garden. These small structures look like something right out of a storybook.
These fairy houses are built by members of the local community and vary in shape, color, and size. You'll never know what darling home you'll come across.
With gorgeous flowers in bloom and a multitude of fairy houses, this is one magical day trip destination. Just make sure to keep your eye out for a magical creature or two — they are all over the Idaho Botanical Garden!
The Fairy House Exhibit takes place during regular garden hours. For more information on the exhibit, ticket fees, dates, etc., visit the Idaho Botanical Garden website and Facebook page.
