However, there's one farm stand that's proven itself as a must-visit for those who love freshly-grown foods. Situated in a charming old barn, this roadside farmers market is a true gem and you'll want to plan a little shopping trip to it soon.
The next time you find yourself in need of some locally grown and downright delicious produce, head on over to Wagner Farms located on the side of the road in Meridian, Idaho.
Wagner Farms has been growing in the region since 1982 and they've remained a family owned and operated business the entire time. Boasting a wide variety of fruits and veggies, it's about to become your go-to spot for grocery shopping!
The lovely farm and accompanying roadside stand has been a beloved destination for Idahoans for years. In fact, the owners of the farm were planning to sell at the beginning of the year but an outpouring of community support helped them make the decision to stay and keep growing.
Wagner Farms is currently going through some big changes! Their current location off of Highway 20 has seen a lot of love, but it's time for an upgrade. The Wagner family plans to build a 12,000-square-foot store with a year-round farmers market in the near future.
Although we're very excited about what's to come out of this farm, we couldn't be more grateful for the old barn that serves as their current location. Here you'll find a variety of crops to choose from, including lettuce, spinach, kale, tomatoes, cherries, berries, apples, eggs, and so much more.
The Wagners are dedicated to using the highest standards of growing and maintaining crops, and you can tell with each and every bite of their delicious produce. You won't be able to help but go home with bags upon bags of the farm's tasty goodies.
