Presented by the Downtown Driggs Association and held at the city’s plaza, national and regional artists will compete with local artists to create massive snow sculptures and work to earn the top prize.
The event starts with the moving and forming of the snow. This process takes a lot of work to ensure every team has the perfect starting block to work from. Then, the artists will have several days to create their masterpieces.
On Saturday, January 21, the public is welcome to attend a large community block party where guests can walk around the snow sculptures and vote for their favorite. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the snow-inspired games, hot drinks and cookies, and even the awards ceremony at the end of the party.
