The Lavender Merchant is a delightful 11-acre farm hiding out in Kuna, Idaho. Boasting gorgeous views of lavender fields, it's the type of place you can easily lose yourself in for the entire day.
There's no better way to spend a spring day than by visiting a lavender farm in full bloom. Here you can stroll through the aisles of flowering lavender, picking your own bouquet as you go. The heavenly smell of lavender will fill your senses and it's downright magical.
The family-owned farm boasts eight different varieties of lavender for both ornamental and culinary use. The farm was started several years ago with just a single row of lavender, but since has grown into the totally immersive environment that it is today.
Visitors are welcome to the farm at anytime via appointment. However, there's one weekend where the farm opens itself completely to the public when it throws its annual Lavender Festival.
This year, the festival will take place July 6-7, 2019. During the festival, the farm is open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and the public is welcome to visit the fields during this time for u-pick lavender. Additionally, local vendors will be selling their own special lavender-infused products.
However, the farm is a wonderful place to visit all spring and summer long. Stop by and pick yourself a bouquet and purchase some of their handmade products such as lavender sugar scrub or lavender soap. The Lavender Merchant is simply too charming to resist!
