Another popular choice for avid hikers is the Alaka'i Swamp Trail. It's a 7 mile boardwalk hike. In some places the boards have deteriorated so expect to get muddy on this trail!

Throughout the park there are many natural wonders to hike to! Plan your routes accordingly to see Kalalau Lookout and the Puu O Kila Lookout over the Kalalau Valley. You'll also want to see Waiʻaleʻale, where you can also expect wet weather.
