The Christmas Lights Road Trip Through Hawaii That’s Nothing Short Of Magical
From Kaneohe and Kailua to Makakilo and Kapolei, Christmas lights completely deck out the beautiful island of Oahu this holiday season. But with so many magical light displays to choose from, where do you even begin? That’s why we’re here – to create a compact and picturesque itinerary across the island to experience some of the best Christmas displays around. For the sake of simplicity – and in consideration of the short amount of time you’re sure to have available this week – we’ve opted for a road trip that takes up little time.
This road trip begins in Honolulu, before traveling through Pearl City, Aiea, and Waikele before ending in Mililani; the entire itinerary brings you to 10 magical light displays and clocks in at only one hour and 45 minutes of drive time, covering only 37 miles. Oh, and while you’re driving across the island, we bet you’ll enjoy listening to these 9 Hawaii Christmas songs.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
