Dine With An Eclectic Collection Of Decor At This Award-Winning Restaurant In Georgia
Life on the beach is grand. We have a number of great beaches in Georgia, and one of the most popular (for residents and tourists alike) is the delightful Tybee Island. The barrier island is about 2.5 miles long and is just off the coast of Savannah. It’s one of the most charming small towns in Georgia, and also has some of the state’s best beaches. It’s also home to some of the state’s best restaurants! You can find some of the best pizza in Tybee Island at the immensely charming Huc-A-Poos Bites and Booze. This place serves up amazing food amidst eclectic decor that perfectly epitomizes the laid-back atmosphere of life on the beach.
Huc-A-Poos is nothing if not unique - you'll notice that as soon as you pull in and see the cluttered patio. There is a lot to look at here, and it's often packed (it's an extremely popular spot with locals), but don't let that intimidate you.
The atmosphere here is so much fun - you're likely to run across plenty of locals ready to chat. It's the perfect place to escape the responsibilities of everyday life and just kick back and relax. Isn't that what the beach is for?
The restaurant actually burned down in the early 2000s and lost much of its decor, but generous fans of Huc A Poos donated more vintage items to go on the walls after it was rebuilt.
Huc A Poos serves up some of the best pizza on Tybee Island and provides a fun atmosphere for all.
