Like many Peach State residents, I am a huge fan of fall. I live in the northern part of the state now, and the foliage here is absolutely amazing. We have plenty of fall destinations in Georgia that are perfect for checking out the leaves, but some of them are pretty prone to attracting huge crowds. If you're hunting for something that's a little more of an autumn hidden gem, you won't want to miss a visit to Victoria Bryant State Park in Royston, GA. This 502-acre preserve is a beautiful place and it's certainly well-known to those in the area, but many leaf peepers tend to head farther north to towns like Helen or Blue Ridge. This is a beautiful state park and a wonderful place for an autumn adventure. Check it out:
You'll find a wide array of scenery here. The park features rolling hills, access to the North Fork of the Broad River, and magnificent hardwood forests.
It's the hardwoods, like oaks, that result in the lovely colors you'll see on display at Victoria Bryant.
Whether you're a fan of the reds, oranges, or the bright yellows, you'll find them here.
There's nothing like a stroll through the gorgeous scenery here, especially in the fall!
There's a lot to do here, including campsites, a golf course, multiple playgrounds, a swimming pool, and, of course, plenty of trails.
No matter what season you visit, you're sure to have a lovely trip to this gorgeous state park.
