Just south of this historic spot was the place where the very first Atlanta streetcars were constructed in the 1890s, which thanks to the trolleys, drew tons of foot traffic to the area.

One of the highlights of shopping in this neighborhood is a stopover at Junkman’s Daughter, a novelty shop with the coolest and strangest items.
