Meander Along A Lake Along the 2-Mile Heath Lake Loop In Georgia For An Unforgettable Outdoor Adventure
With so many great trails in Georgia, it can be hard to make a to-do list of ones you need to check out. So many of them have spectacular scenery! One of our favorite trails in Columbus is the Heath Lake Loop that circles around the little Lake Heath, a reservoir that’s mostly known as a great fishing spot for locals. It’s a fairly easy trail that won’t take all day; it’s just under two miles for the whole loop. But it’s a pleasant little trail that will get your blood pumping and let you enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings!
Since this is such an easy trail, it's a great choice for novice hikers who aren't up for the difficulty of a trail through the woods. It's also great if you're looking for a kid-friendly hike in Georgia.
The Heath Lake Loop is one of our favorite hidden trails to escape the hustle and bustle of the city! Have you ever traversed this little trail? Share your experiences in the comments.
