Hidden Inside A Neighborhood Market, This Old-School Deli Makes The Best Sandwiches In Washington
Tat’s Deli in Seattle’s Pioneer Square offers authentic East Coast-style sandwiches and a variety of sides, making it one of the best delis in Washington.
It’s not easy finding a really good deli that caters to your sandwich tastes. Add in a craving for an East Coast-style sandwich while you’re on the West Coast, and you might really be out of luck. Unless, of course, you head to Tat’s Deli in Seattle’s Pioneer Square. It is truly one of the best delis in Washington.
While the owners have been West Coasters since about 1996, they are both originally from the East Coast.
They opened up Tat’s Deli in 2004, and since then, the two have been bringing their authentic recipes to a new crowd of sandwich lovers.
From breakfast sandwiches to cold subs to hot sandwiches to an assortment of sides, they’ve got you covered no matter what you are looking for.
Try the bacon, egg, and cheese or the copa, pepper, egg, and cheese for breakfast.
As for hot sandwiches, you need to try the cheesesteak, of course. But I’ll let you choose whether you want that with beef or chicken.
For cold sandwiches, I’d recommend Tat’s Italian hoagie or the roast beef hoagie.
As someone who really truly loves sandwiches, I'd also recommend the Italian grinder or the Tat’strami.
And don’t forget about the meatball sub!
Choose wisely, but know that you literally cannot go wrong with any sandwich you choose here.
Be sure to grab some macaroni or potato salad for a side.
Other sides include chicken wings, chips, soups, and fries.
If you can’t exactly get yourself to Pioneer Square, know that Tat’s Deli also has a food truck!
And they have your parties covered too, as they offer catering services.
Head to the website for Tat's Deli to get the most up-to-date menu and to check the food truck schedule. Wish they were in my neighborhood!
