A Meal At This Unique Restaurant In Washington Is Everything You Never Knew You Needed

Bizzarro Italian Cafe in Seattle offers a unique dining experience with fresh, delicious Italian food and eclectic decor.

Washington is no stranger to outstanding Italian eateries, especially the Seattle area. So it goes without saying that to really stand out in the crowd, the restaurant has to be unique. And there's simply no better word to describe Bizarro Italian Cafe.

Bizzarro Italian Cafe is located at 1307 N 46th St., in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood.

While Wallingford is sometimes a bit off the beaten path for most tourists, this spot stays perpetually packed with locals and visitors alike.

The place is definitely appropriately named.

This is not a pretentious dining room. You'll find authentic Italian decor, local art, and eclectic oddities decorating the space.

David Nast, a chef and visual artist, opened the cafe in the 80s.

He converted an old auto workshop into his dream restaurant on a shoestring budget. Bizzarro still has the same quirky theme, and it's amazing.

Here's something else that's amazing: The food here is exceptionally delicious.

The decor isn't some kind of gimmick to get people in the door for a mediocre meal. It's just an added bonus to the mouthwatering entree you'll enjoy.

The pasta at Bizzarro is all made fresh daily, which makes a real (delicious) difference in the taste.

The bread and desserts are also made in-house. And for the quality of the food, the prices are pretty reasonable.

The portions here aren't small, but you should still save room for dessert.

From the cannolis to the Mile High Tiramisu, it's all outstanding.

Bizzarro is open daily from 5-10 p.m.

They accept reservations for parties of 6 or more during the week, but Fridays and Saturdays are first come, first served only. While there is usually a wait, it's well worth it... and you'll have plenty to look at.

Bizzarro Italian Cafe definitely deserves a spot on your Washington restaurant bucket list.
