Fortunately, we've located one, and it just so happens to be one of the loveliest places to spend a few hours. Whether you're traveling with kiddos or with your pup, this family-friendly and dog-friendly winery is a welcoming environment for all.

Welcome to Barrel Oak Winery & Taproom! Situated in the beautiful rolling hills of Delaplane, Virginia, this destination is one where everyone is welcome -- pups included!

The winery was established in 2006. Rather than being simply a destination to enjoy fine Virginia wine, the owners wanted to emphasize a place of belonging for everyone who visited: "We didn’t want to just sell wine, we wanted to create a place of community.”

And that's exactly what they've done! No matter your age, whether you're a local or a visitor, or whether you're traveling with kiddos or your favorite furry friends, you'll be greeted with a warm smile.
