This family run sugarhouse knows their way around making some of the best maple syrup you'll ever taste.

They have 14,000 taps which makes about 5,000 to 7,000 gallons of syrup each sugaring season.

Maple creemees are typically started with the same dairy base, but it’s their own maple syrup that’s the key ingredient.

To overpower the vanilla base, they use a dark grade of syrup to give it the maple flavor. That’s the real secret. The darker the syrup, the better the maple creemee!

They have a lovely spot to enjoy your treat on a hot day, but these are so popular they offer them year round.

Actually, they sell as many on a busy ski weekend than they do on a summer day!

The tradition of getting a creemee at the Green Mountain Sugar House runs deep.

True story: When this guy was a kid he'd paddle his boat across the lake for a creemee. Now he's bringing his own kids for the same treat which will make lifelong memories.
