This Greenhouse Restaurant In Utah Is The Most Enchanting Place To Eat

As the days start to get chillier in Utah, you'll be missing summer's lush, green foliage. Visit this charming little restaurant in Ogden to find yourself surrounded by plants... and enjoy some delicious food, too.

You'll find Rainbow Gardens in the mouth of Ogden Canyon. The address is 1875 Valley Drive, Ogden.

This spot was originally Ogden Canyon Resort, open in 1895. Over the years, it changed from one resort to another, and in 1946 it became Rainbow Gardens.

The Greenery Restaurant opened in 1976 and has been serving tasty food ever since.

It's open seven days a week: Monday - Thursday 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The dining room is just like a greenhouse — lots of plants and an airy, spacious atmosphere.

The Greenery is famous for its Mormon Muffins. These walnut-bran muffins are served warm with honey butter.

If you like mushrooms, you have to start your meal with the sautéed mushrooms appetizer.

This is a great spot for lunch with friends. The Tasty Tom sandwich includes turkey breast, bacon, and Swiss cheese served on toasted wheat bread.

The French dip is another lunch favorite.

For dinner, try the 10 oz. New York Steak. Juicy and delicious!

Dessert at The Greenery is a must. The cheesecake is rich and creamy and comes with your choice of toppings.

Choose from cherry, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, chocolate, or caramel.
