Silver Fork Lodge is located in Big Cottonwood Canyon, nestled in the pines and aspens.

This restaurant has a rich history, from its beginning as a general store for local loggers and farmers in the 1800s. In 1943, it became the lodge and restaurant it is today.

Ever since, Silver Fork Lodge has been serving people who come to the canyon for recreation. It's just minutes away from both Brighton and Solitude ski resorts.

Though the menu has been updated over the years, much of the restaurant remains the same. This beautiful rock fireplace is as cozy as ever, and photos from the past grace the mantle.

During the winter, there's nothing better than dining right in front of a roaring fire.

The glass tile of the bar is original, from the 1940s.

In the summer months, eat on the deck and breathe in that fresh, mountain air.

The hummingbird feeders draw dozens of these tiny creatures that will delight you while you dine.
