Everyone Goes Nuts For The Hamburgers At This Nostalgic Eatery In Utah

There's really nothing better than a juicy burger...unless it's a juicy burger served up in an adorable, retro diner. Have you ever visited Road Island Diner in Oakley? You've got to check this out!

This gorgeous diner has been open since 1939...but has only been in Utah since 2007.

The diner was built by the Jerry O'Mahony Company in 1939, for the World's Fair in New York. After the fair, it was moved to Fall River, Massachusetts, then to Middletown, Rhode Island where it served as a restaurant until 2007. When the owners decided to sell it, people all over the country wanted to buy it, but Utah was chosen as its new home.

This gorgeous, Art Deco-style dining car has been preserved throughout the years and was lovingly restored in 2007.

Sit on one of the bar's swivel stools for a real retro experience.

The dining car is on the National Registry of Historic Places.

Every table has its very own jukebox.

The burgers here are fresh and delicious. Get yours with a side of onion rings.

A chocolate shake is a must, as well.

If you're not in the mood for a burger, try one of the other tasty menu items. The homemade mac n cheese is a great choice.

You'll find Road Island Diner at 981 W. Weber Canyon Road in Oakley. It's open Thursday through Sunday from 8 AM to 8 PM; closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
