This Beloved Utah Mexican Food Restaurant Is Family-Owned, And The Food And Service Is Fantastic

The Armenta Family hails from Guanajuato, Mexico, and when Mamá Armenta came to Utah, she brought her family recipes with her.

Mi Ranchito now has five locations in Utah, and each is owned and operated by a family member. You'll find Mi Ranchito Grill at 3600 S. State Street in Salt Lake City.

Step inside, and you'll be enveloped by a warm, inviting atmosphere. The colorful decorations are cheerful, and a friendly hostess will lead you to your table.

Snuggle up in a cozy booth to peruse the menu. Everything on it is authentic, fresh, and delicious.

Mi Ranchito prides itself on its fresh, delicious cuisine. In addition to a large selection of traditional items, you'll also find a vegan menu.

If you're dining with friends, you'll definitely want to try the Molcajete or Parrillada. Both are huge platters of grilled meats and veggies, and they're perfect for sharing.

The Molcajete is an authentic Aztec dish, and includes shrimp, carne asada, and chicken breast. It serves two.

The Parrillada serves four people, and is similar to the Molcajete, but it's served on a self-heating platter with rice, beans, and tortillas.

The tacos are especially tasty...

...but you can't go wrong with the enchiladas, fajitas, quesadillas, or chimichanga, either.

The flavors are fantastic, and the ingredients are always top-quality and fresh as can be.

Pair your meal with a Mexican beer, margarita, or other mixed drink; Mi Ranchito Grill has a full bar.

Stop by for some delicious dining seven days a week. The restaurant opens at 11 a.m. every day. Sunday through Thursday, it's open til 9:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday til 11 p.m.
