Chow Down At Chuck-A-Rama, An All-You-Can-Eat Comfort Food Restaurant In Utah

Chuck-A-Rama is a popular all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant in Utah and Idaho known for its fresh, home-cooked food and diverse menu.

When you think of all-you-can-eat buffet restaurants, you probably think of limp salad fixings and bland heaps of instant mashed potatoes. Those places certainly exist, but if you want fresh, home-cooked food, you'll want to visit Chuck-A-Rama. It has a huge buffet with something for everyone.

Chuck-A-Rama is a Utah Restaurant that got its start in 1966. Owner Don Moss came up with the name by combining "Chuck Wagon" with "Scout-O-Rama."

Today, the restaurant has 10 Utah locations from St. George to Logan. It also has restaurants in Boise and Idaho Falls.

It's a popular place to dine when you've got a big group to feed, if your family has a big appetite, or if everyone wants something different for dinner.

The homemade rolls are absolutely delicious, and you'll be going back for several more during your meal.

Pair those tasty rolls with the homemade jam, or slather it on the corn bread or scones. It's also great on top of ice cream for dessert.

The salad bar is full of fresh fixings of all kinds. Enjoy tons of different fresh veggies, as well as prepared salads.

Meats include turkey, honey ham, and roast beef, carved fresh.

Home-cooked side dishes round out your meal. Try the real mashed potatoes or the creamy mac 'n cheese.

Chuck-A-Rama offers a different specialty every day. On Chuck Wagon Day, enjoy tangy BBQ ribs, baked beans, and cornbread.

You'll also enjoy the specialty food on Seafood Day, Italian Day, Mexican Day, Asian Day, and International Day. Sunday is Family Dinner Day, with all your favorite comfort foods.

Pile your plate high, then go back for seconds of your favorite dishes.

There's unlimited soda, water, or lemonade during your dining experience, too.

Make sure to leave room for dessert, because it's baked fresh in the restaurant every day. Enjoy brownies, cake, pie, puddings, and ice cream.

All of Chuck-A-Rama's locations are open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and dinner from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, and for dinner from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
