The Outdoor Restaurant In Texas That Is The Prettiest Place To Enjoy A Warm Afternoon

When the weather starts getting warm, one of my favorite things to do is enjoy as many al fresco meals as possible. One of the best places for outdoor dining in Texas is Dallas' Paradiso, a Southern European restaurant with a beautiful courtyard (and plenty of shade for those hot summer days here in the Lone Star State!). Not only is the scenery beautiful, but the food is so fresh and delicious as well.

Tucked away in the heart of Dallas' vibrant Bishop Arts District, Paradiso is - just as its name implies - a little slice of paradise. With one of the largest outdoor dining areas in Texas, this courtyard oasis is inspired by the coastal dining style of Southern Europe.

Featuring towering trees and lush greenery (which means lots of shade for those hot summer days!), Paradiso is a full-service restaurant serving brunch, lunch, and dinner. It also has two bars: one indoors and the other outside.

In the event of inclement weather, the interior of the restaurant is just as gorgeous as the patio, with colorful furniture and tons of beautiful plants. If you do have to sit indoors, you definitely won't be missing out on the Paradiso experience.

Also, the restaurant is full of windows that look out onto the courtyard, so you'll still be able to see all the lovely scenery if you opt for an inside seat.

Now, onto the food. In true Southern European style, everything on the menu is fresh, with a special emphasis on seasonal ingredients. For starters, opt for a hummus trio, marinated burrata, or fresh pita bread. You really can't go wrong!

For mains, you'll see classics like wood-fired pizza and handmade pasta, with plenty of vegetarian options available. There are also meat and seafood dishes like steak frites, pan-roasted salmon, and Moroccan-spiced chicken, plus salads and sides.

The menu does change frequently (again, Paradiso is all about serving what's in season), so keep an eye on the official Facebook page for the latest specials.

Oh, and let's not forget about the drinks! From craft cocktails (and mocktails) to beer (including some local pours!), there's something for everyone to sip on.

Visit the Paradiso website or the Paradiso Facebook page for more information, including current hours of operation and a full menu.
