Slurp, Savor, Repeat: Texas’s Best Noodle Restaurant for National Noodle Month

If you’re searching for the best noodles in Texas, Noodle Master delivers an unforgettable experience with expertly crafted dishes, from savory beef noodle soup to perfectly steamed dumplings, all served in a modern, welcoming space that will quickly become one of your new favorite restaurants.

Did you know March is National Noodle Month? No matter how you feel about food holidays, this one is worth celebrating. I surely don’t need an excuse to discover the best noodles in Texas, but at least now I can justify eating out despite having plenty of food at home.

If you’re looking for a new spot to get your noodle fix, check out Noodle Master. This authentic Northern Chinese restaurant, with three Houston-area locations, specializes in hand-pulled noodles and features an open kitchen so guests can watch the chefs hard at work.

Celebrate National Noodle Month With the Best Noodles in Texas

With locations in Pasadena, Baytown, and Katy, Noodle Master is changing the Houston noodle scene for the better. As soon as you step inside, the relaxing ambiance and custom artwork will make you feel at ease and ready to enjoy a great meal.

The menu is fairly large, so give yourself plenty of time to look it over. I highly recommend starting with some dumplings or bao. The Xiao Long Bao, also known as soup dumplings, are a crowd favorite. For entrees, the noodle soups are incredible. Noodle Master offers Chinese and Japanese ramen featuring the restaurant’s famous hand-pulled noodles. The braised beef soup is one of the most popular Chinese dishes, featuring green onions, cilantro, white radish, broccoli, and beef that's so tender it falls apart in your mouth. You can tell the meat has been slow-cooked for hours, and the flavor is just phenomenal.

On the Japanese side, the black garlic spicy tonkotsu ramen gets stellar reviews. Tonkotsu ramen is already delicious enough with its star ingredient, marinated pork belly, but this dish adds even more depth of flavor with fried garlic, marinated egg, chili oil, seaweed, and black garlic sauce. Both of these dishes are some of the best ramen in Texas.

Other Must-Try Noodle Dishes

If you aren’t in the mood for soup, any of the stir-fry entrees come with your choice of rice or noodles. Options include beef and broccoli, mapo tofu, Mongolian beef, and many other classic Chinese dishes. If you need a recommendation, don’t sleep on the sautéed beef with potato noodles. If you’ve never had potato noodles, they’re chewy little pillows of deliciousness that soak up sauces better than any noodles I’ve tried. They just might change your life.

Visit Noodle Master's website for more information about the restaurant, including current hours and a full menu. And if you're craving noodles of the Italian variety, Osteria il Muro in Denton also features handmade pasta, along with fresh, locally sourced ingredients that make every bite worth savoring.
