These 9 Restaurants Serve The Best BBQ Ribs In Tennessee

It just wouldn't be Tennessee without some good BBQ, you know? And dry-rub ribs - well, any kind of ribs - make the Volunteer State one of a kind. Here are a couple of spots that made our top list from across the whole of the state. We know not every awesome joint could make the list, but this should definitely help bulk up that bbq bucket list of yours. Have you been to any?

9) Archer's BBQ - Knoxville

Known across east Tennessee as an absolute knockout, Archer's BBQ has a sweet vibe and solid menu that'll hold you through dinner.

8) Sticky Fingers - Chattanooga

Sticky Fingers is known for fantastic Chattanooga BBQ, whether it be dry rub, baked beans or anything else on their menu. This is one stop you won't regret making!

7) Chandler's Deli - Knoxville

One of the most gut-busting descriptions of Chandler's Deli is that it "brings the south to your mouth." We'd insert a cry-laughing emoji here, if we could. Plus, check the sides on that beauty!

6) Sugar Ribs - Chattanooga

Most likely the best known BBQ spot in Chattanooga, Sugar Ribs has two locations to help you sate that glorious craving.

5) Smokin' Thighs - Nashville

This Nashville joint may look like a hole in the wall, but they boast a feat of perfection in the bbq world.

4) Peg Leg Porker - Nashville

Nashville came real close to giving Memphis a run for their money with Peg Leg Porker. Their dry rub is famous in the capital city, plus they boast some solid smoked green beans.

3) Marlowe's Ribs & Restaurant - Memphis

And so begins the top three - all belonging to Memphis. Marlowe's is our number three, for their dry rub from heaven and decadent southern sides.

2) Central BBQ - Memphis

The fun, woodsy atmosphere gives the fantastic BBQ a perfect edge for your enjoyment. Their selection of BBQ sauce is to die for, too!

1) Charlie Vergos' Rendezvous - Memphis

Wow. Choosing number one was insanely difficult. But the word "Rendezvous" is almost interchangeable with "BBQ" in good ol' Memphis. Their dry rub takes home the prize, folks.
