You can find our map, right here.

1. Maciel's Tortas & Tacos - Memphis
Located right on Main Street, Maciel's boasts a fun vibe and some solid Tex-Mex eats. You'll want to check their 3-taco specials for prime time authentic taco indulgence on a budget. (45 S Main Street)
2. Las Tortugas Deli Mexicana - Germantown
This casual spot is not too far from the heart of Memphis, in its upscale suburb of Germantown.
We'd recommend trying out the elote and the carne asada taco platter. (1215 S Germantown Road)
3. Mas Tacos Por Favor - Nashville
This humble Nashville favorite is cash only and great if you're looking for a solid lunch for a couple of bucks. They recently expanded into a bar area that's great for strong margaritas. We'd recommend their fried avocado tacos and tortilla soup. (732 Mcferrin Avenue)
4. Edley's BBQ - Nashville
Okay, alright - before you get SUPER upset that Edley's is on here, you need to try out their brisket tacos. They're only available for lunch, but they're seriously NEXT level. Juicy, succulent and downright delicious, this is a southern taco done right. (Various Locations)
5. Poblanos Mexican Cuisine - Chattanooga
Poblanos is a colorful, family friendly place that isn't afraid to get creative with their Mexican fare.
The pork and mahi tacos come highly recommended, by the way. So hopefully you're hungry! (551 River Street)
6. La Altena - Chattanooga
Outdoor seating and a fun, colorful atmosphere make La Altena a necessary stop if you're ever in Chattanooga. Their menu offers up authentic Mexican fare, lauded by the locals and touted by tourists.
It's a hole in the wall, for sure, but tacos are only $1.25! (314 W Main Street)
7. Soccer Taco - Knoxville
This chain is actually highly recommended by Knoxvillians. They offer fun eateries that vibe with a neat sports bar atmosphere - but family friendly and with all sorts of tacos, of course.
(Various Locations)
8. Senor Taco - Knoxville
Fish tacos are of the essence here at Senor Taco. Known as one of the best places for locals to visit for Mexican fare,
we'd recommend you stop by for lunch and enjoy a taco and a run by their salsa bar. (3325 N Broadway)
9. Babalu Tacos & Tapas - Knoxville
We'd recommend visiting during happy hour when you can indulge in $2 tacos, but there's nothing wrong with a full dinner here, either. Make sure to snag some tableside guacaole! (412 S Gay Street)
