A Massive Food Hall Is Opening Soon In Nashville And It Looks As Amazing As It Sounds

Nashville is set to open a new and exciting food hall in downtown.

Nashville has more than its fair share of restaurant openings across the city, from new taco joints to new Southern joints to joints that have more variations of hot chicken than you could have ever thought were humanly possible. It's rare that any one upcoming project stands out, but after a recent announcement, Nashville finally has that project that promises to change everything. The Nashville Food Hall (or Nashville Public Market) is slated for an opening in the near future in downtown Nashville, and you won't believe how cool this place looks. You'll just have to see for yourself

Right in the heart of downtown Nashville, developers are building what is promising to be one of the most impressive and extensive food halls this side of the Mississippi.

Sitting right on Broadway, the food hall will be a great spot for lunch or dinner for tourists and downtown business folks alike. The project, once completed, will house more than two dozen bars and food stands.

The space is meant to be both a gathering place, a one-stop spot for food, and a venue for live music where up-and-coming musicians can perform for the diners and visitors.

What would a restaurant or bar on Lower Broadway be without a dining and drinks option on the roof? That's right, the Nashville Food Hall will have a rooftop patio that offers great views of Broadway, the Ryman Auditorium, and Bridgestone Arena.

What do you think? Looks awesome, right? The only bummer about this project is that it's not slated to open until 2020. Until then, we'll just have to keep dreaming and eagerly waiting for this epic Nashville Food Hall.

After this look forward for Nashville, take a step back in time with these photos from the catastrophic 2010 flood.
