The Decadent Tacos At Tallulah’s Taqueria In Rhode Island Will Have Your Mouth Watering In No Time

Tallulah’s Taqueria in Rhode Island offers customizable, high-quality Mexican cuisine with fresh, local ingredients.

Rhode Island is thought of by many as a not-particularly-worldly state. We are so quintessentially New England that we're often thought of as not having a lot of outside influence. However, anyone who's checked out our wonderful ethnic restaurants in Rhode Island knows we have some delicious international cuisine. For example, next time you're craving Mexican, check out the mouthwatering fare at Tallulah's Taqueria. This tasty Providence spot features amazing tacos, burritos, and build-your-own bowls. There's nothing like the joy of eating out while customizing your own dishes, and Tallulah's is perfect for that.

Don't let the plain brick outside fool you: this place is filled with flavor!

Tallulah's Taqueria pride itself on serving fresh food made with local ingredients whenever possible. Just because food is casual and simple doesn't mean that quality has to be skimped on.

The restaurant has a small menu that somehow manages to provide practically endless possibilities.

Quesadillas, nachos, tortas, tacos, burritos, and bowls are the only items on the menu. That's not nearly as limiting as it sounds, because you then get your pick for fillings.

There are several different kinds of meat, plus seafood and veggies.

Some of the toppings here are pretty unique for a casual restaurant. You typically don't see grilled camote (sweet potato) or beef tongue outside of authentic sit-down restaurants.

This is one place where you can get fast food that's reasonably priced but still high quality.

We love that you get to customize your entire meal: it's all the benefits of cooking it yourself, but with none of the work!

The main location in Providence has been around for nearly a decade, and the owners recently opened up a second smaller spot in Jamestown.
