This Pennsylvania Dining Experience Has Been Called One of the Best Restaurants in the U.S.
An iconic French brasserie serving the best breakfast in Pennsylvania, Parc Restaurant is a Philadelphia institution.
Philadelphia is one of the Northeast's best cities, and a big part of that is the food. It's acclaimed for its diverse culinary scene, featuring everything from high-end authentic restaurants from around the world to one of the most impressive food halls in the entire country. But if there's one restaurant that sums up Philadelphia for me, it might just be Parc at Rittenhouse Square. This old-school French brasserie is a throwback to an era of dining where you could enjoy a classic, well-prepared French meal in an elegant setting without committing to a multi-course event. It opened in 2008 and has a reputation for serving the best breakfast in Philadelphia, but no matter when you visit, you're in for a truly special experience in one of the Keystone State's best restaurants.
Parc has been part of Philadelphia's ecosystem for over 15 years, but it feels like much longer. This elegant but casual French brasserie starts serving early and keeps going well into the night, and every meal here is one to remember.
Inside, you'll find an elegant Belle Epoque-inspired restaurant with a large dining room, so a wait for a table is rare. But if the weather's nice, Parc has one of the best outdoor dining spots in the city, lining the beautiful exterior.
One of the things I love most about this Brasserie is there is something for everyone on the menu. The breakfast menu alone is bigger than the full menu at many French restaurants.
Breakfast here is really an event, combining classic brunch staples like eggs Benedict with French icons like Vol au vent. The prices are affordable for a restaurant of this quality, and lighter options are on offer so the entire party will be happy.
At lunch and dinner, the focus shifts to classic French dishes. The steak frites here are definitely one to remember, and the lamb tagine is a wonderful taste of Morocco. Make sure to save room for dessert; the restaurant's flair is on full display.
